Isaiah 25:8

"He will destroy death forever. The Lord GOD will wipe away the tears from all faces; The reproach of his people he will remove from the whole earth; for the LORD has spoken."
‭‭

Jesus conquered death for you, greater is He who lives in you than he that lives in the world.  He has removed all shame and disgrace from His people.  It is Jesus Himself who wipes away our tears.

Wow, He did that for me, I know I don't deserve it but Jesus doesn't care about that.

We remember this week how Jesus walked on earth for mankind.   Help those around you realize where your hope comes from, let them see Jesus in you.  Let the Risen Lord shine thru.

Greater is He who lives in me than he who lives in the world.

Daily Thoughts 03-30-2015 Holy Week

Jeremiah 29:11-11

For I know well the plans I have in mind for you—oracle of the LORD —plans for your welfare and not for woe, so as to give you a future of hope. When you call me, and come and pray to me, I will listen to you.

God's messengers, God uses each of us to spread His word in our own ways.  We don't always know what we say or to whom we say something that it is a Divine message from above.

The Bible verse is from Zip - Howard Wagner.  God has a plan for each of us, His plans are perfect so pay attention to God's messengers.

The email attached is brought to you by Brandon Beseda empowered by the Holy Spirit, said like only he can say it.  Thank You Brandon!!!!

Jesus died for you so that YOU will have eternal life.

As we celebrate this most truly Holy Week let us send up our love to Jesus. Let us thank Him for taking up His cross and dying for our sins. He loves us so much He let Himself be crucified to save us. He loves us so much while on His cross he told His Father, Our God, "Forgive them Father for they know not what they do" and when one of the thieves asked for forgiveness Jesus told him "You will be with me in paradise." How can we refuse to send up our thanks and love to Our Redeemer when He atoned for our sins and to make salvation possible?!?!
And also let us thank His Mother, Our Most Holy Queen, Mary. She was, and still is so Faithful to God she allowed Jesus to be conceived by the Holy Spirit and She allowed Him to be crucified for us! She could have begged and pleaded with God for Jesus to live, but she was and is so Faithful that if no one would have crucified Jesus she would crucified Jesus Herself for God's Will and for our sake!!! So let us thank Her also for what She has done for us, for being the Patroness Saint of all humankind and for Her Love for us!

When we celebrate Holy Thursday we should let ourselves remember the Last Supper. We should meditate on what Christ accomplished in the Last Supper. We should meditate on His words from Matthew 26:26-28

26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body."27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the[a]covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

He made the Bread as His Body and the Wine as His Blood!!! And we get to receive these every Sunday!!! We get to take Christ in wholly, how amazing is that?!?! How can we even think to refuse taking Him in when He gave Himself for us?!?!

When we celebrate Good Friday and the Cross is presented in front of the altar(if your Church does this), go up and kiss Jesus' feet, say a prayer, tell Jesus you love Him, tell Him thank you, ask for forgiveness. Cry out to Him for anything. I know personally that I get extremely emtional when I'm at the feet of Jesus because I can feel His Love and Forgiveness. I can feel my burdens being lifted and for that short moment my world comes to a stand still and he is standing there right beside me healing me.

After whatever it is you do at the Foot of the Cross if there is a statue of Mary in your Church look at Her and tell Her thank you, tell Her you love Her, ask Her for forgiveness. If there isn't a statue when you get back to your pew do the same as above. Pray a Hail Mary, Hail Holy Queen, Memorare or Miraculous Medal Prayer

When it's Easter Sunday, again give thanks and praise to Jesus. Tell Him thank you for giving Himself for us and for being ressurected up to Heaven, for securing our Salavation and for the Love He gave us and still gives us for that is the TRUE meaning of Easter Sunday!!! And again give thanks, praise, love and compassion to Mary also!!!

Everyone have a Blessed, Amazing, Wonderful, Loving, Compassionate, Holy and God filled, Jesus filled, Mary filled, Saint filled and Angel filled week this week!!!!!

I love you all and be safe!!!!!

Daily Thoughts 03-29-2015

John 12:13

"they took palm branches and went out to meet him, and cried out: "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the nameo of the Lord, [even] the king of Israel."

The people in Jesus's time we're looking for a deliverer from the oppression they were feeling.  Little did they realize what was about to happen.

Our journey also changes once Jesus has stepped in.  Do you try to dictate what the outcome should be?  God knows what is best for the future.  Trust in Him and shout Hosanna to the king of Kings!

Enjoy the readings with new found appreciation today.  Memories will flood back in of the journey.

Daily Thoughts 03-28-2015

John 11:52

"and not only for the nation, but also to gather into one the dispersed children of God."
‭‭

We are still being gathered into one today.   Jesus died for all yet there are so many different faiths and ways of believing.  But there is one Jesus, one God and one Holy Spirit.

We are called to unite others to Christ, it is the Holy Spirit who will bring them home.

Have a blessed sun shiny day knowing The Holy Spirit is working in the fields.

John 10:37-38

"If I do not perform my Father's works, do not believe me; but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may realize [and understand] that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.""
‭‭

Can you imagine living in the time of Jesus.  Seeing Jesus perform miracles and then watching supposed Godly people wanting to stone Him, wanting Him dead.

It occurs today for those who don't believe.  They are convinced that they are right yet Jesus is real.

Be that light that by the grace of God they may come to understand that The Father is real and Jesus died for them.

Happy Friday guys, enjoy the fresh spring day.

John 8:51

"Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever keeps my word will never see death."

We all know that God's Word is truth, so what is the above scripture saying to you?   We sometimes fear death but if He is in you there is nothing to fear.

Our earthly body will pass but our spiritual body will never pass.  If our lives only involve our worldly desires and don't allow for spiritual growth then we will need to decide to change something.  God's promises are truth, keep His word and never die.

Have a blessed die growing closer to God.

John 1:17

"because while the law was given through Moses, grace and truth came through Jesus Christ."
‭‭
Jesus Christ came to do the will of His Father.  It is thru grace that we believe.  We have a purpose and a mission to do His will in our daily lives.  Do not be afraid for I go before you, Jesus always goes first, He leads the way.

John 1:9

"The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world."
‭‭
Jesus is that light and He does enlighten everyone who opens the door.   We have a choice each day to let His light shine.  Not always easy as life can put a lamp shade on us.

Trust that Jesus is shining thru, let your guard down and be vulnerable.  He knows the way let His light be the guide to your future.  Do not rely upon yourself but trust in Jesus.

Enjoy your day knowing that God and your brothers & sisters in Christ have your back.

Psalms 68:19

"Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens."
‭‭
Where do you turn when life seems to get in the way?  Where do you turn when you just need a pick me up?  God is always there waiting to help, we just need to ask.

His Word is a good place to start when feeling burdened.  He will give you what you need but once again we must turn to Him.

Praise be to Jesus who refreshes the soul.  Have a blessed week knowing God is there to help carry the load.

Revelations 3:20

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, [then] I will enter his house and dine with him, and he with me."
‭‭
As I read this scripture my thoughts turn to my friendship with Jesus.  A friendship that is being nurtured on a daily bases.  Jesus didn't come to condemn but to offer a new covenant.  To offer a pathway to Heaven.

Jesus loves us so much that he was willing to endure death on a cross for us.  There are some who doubt but God still stands at the door and knocks.

Knock, Knock, have you let Him in yet?

Luke 8:15

But as for the seed that fell on rich soil, they are the ones who, when they have heard the word, embrace it with a generous and good heart, and bear fruit through perseverance.

Jesus persevered thru the task His Father had given.   Knowing what was coming He still pushed on knowing that God had a purpose for His life.

We too must push on, not get down but look up knowing our Heavenly Father has a purpose for our life.

You are the good soil, you have the good heart and your efforts will bear fruit.  Push on for the Glory of The Lord.

Enjoy your day!  Keep reading on down a great reflection passed along by a brother who is fighting the good fight.

Amen Brother!

How True!  No would enter the Boston marathon without training weeks, or even months in preparation.

2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Question: "What did Paul mean when he said he had finished the race?"

Answer:
"I have finished the race" is the second clause of three within a passage written by the apostle Paul to Timothy: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" (2 Timothy 4:7). The apostle wrote these words near the end of his life. These three statements reflect Paul's struggles in preaching the gospel of Christ and his victory over those struggles.

In the 1st century, the Romans celebrated both the Olympic Games and the Isthmian Games. Competitors would spend up to ten months in arduous physical training. Because the Corinthians were very familiar with these events, Paul used the games as an analogy for a believer's life of faithfulness. He wrote the church in Corinth saying, "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever" (1 Corinthians 9:24-25). Paul's exhortation is that believers should be as focused and dedicated as those ancient runners in the games. Our motivation in serving Christ is much higher; we "run" not for a temporary crown, but for an eternal one.

In his letter to Timothy, Paul is not commending himself for having "run the full distance" (TEV); rather, he is simply describing what the grace of God had enabled him to do. In the book of Acts, Paul says these powerful words: "I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace" (Acts 20:24).

So, by declaring "I have finished the race," Paul is telling Timothy that he had put every effort into the work of proclaiming to all the gospel of salvation. He had completed the course set before him; he had left nothing undone. He was ready to cross the finish line into heaven.

In a race, only one runner wins. However, in the Christian "race," everyone who pays the price of vigilant training for the cause of Christ can win. We are not competing against one other, as in athletic games, but against the struggles, physical and spiritual, that stand in the way of our reaching the prize (Philippians 3:14).

Every believer runs his own race (1 Corinthians 9:24). Each of us is enabled to be a winner. Paul exhorts us to "run in such a way as to get the prize," and to do this we must set aside anything that might hinder us from living and teaching the gospel of Christ. The writer of Hebrews echoes the words of Paul: "Lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12:1-2).

May we be diligent in our "race," may we keep our eyes on the goal, and may we, like Paul, finish strong.

1 Timothy 4:7-8

Avoid profane and silly myths. Train yourself for devotion, for, while physical training is of limited value, devotion is valuable in every respect, since it holds a promise of life both for the present and for the future.

We are all in training while alive.  The goal of everyone should be heaven.  That is the price that we all seek.  This is accomplished on our daily walk.  In our devotion to Jesus, God and Mother Mary, they are our Heavenly Family.

God is always there even when you doubt, He is still there.  Know that you are loved beyond tomorrow.  Keep the head down and continue pushing forward towards the goal.

Brothers, may Jesus be the example as you follow Him today.

Matthew 13:16-17

"But blessed are your eyes, because they see, and your ears, because they hear. Amen, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

Discipleship, the privilege of following in the footsteps of Jesus.  To be His hands, His feet, His eyes, His ears, and His voice.

It isn't always easy to step out of ourselves but you have been given a responsibility to honor God with your lives.  It is in the small steps each day that we follow Jesus.  Concentrate on today and let tomorrow take care of itself.

Praise Jesus, Praise The Holy name of Jesus.  To Him be the honor and the glory.

John 5:30

"I cannot do anything on my own; I judge as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me.

Not my will but His will.

Do you ever get a tug at the heart to go a certain direction or to do something that scares you?  You would rather just stay where you are at so you try and wrestle with God.

God tugs for a reason in our lives.  He is creating more room for His will so next time He tugs seek His will and follow His tug.  Father knows best:)

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

God's Grace. Do you sit back and watch people, see them as they go about life either in the Grace of God or not aware of the Grace of God.  It is thru the Grace of God that you believe, it is thru the Grace of God that you receive mercy.

It is not on your own abilities that you love life but on the grace that God gave you.  Why do you doubt what God gave you?  Embrace your abilities, strengthen your abilities but most important of all is share your abilities.   For it is thru the Grace of God that you have them.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all my Irish friends and those that wish they were Irish.

Paddy suffered a serious heart attack while shopping in a store.
The store clerk called 911 when they saw him collapse to the floor.
The paramedics rushed Paddy to the nearest hospital where he had emergency open heart bypass surgery.
He awakened from the surgery to find himself in the care of nuns at the Catholic Hospital.
A nun was seated next to his bed holding a clipboard loaded with several forms, and a pen.
She asked him how he was going to pay for his treatment.   "Do you have health insurance?" she asked.
Paddy replied in a raspy voice, "No health insurance."
The nun asked, "Do you have money in the bank?"
Paddy replied, "No money in the bank."
Do you have a relative who could help you with the payments?" asked the irritated nun.
Paddy said, "I only have a spinster sister, and she is a nun."
The nun became agitated and announced loudly, "Nuns are not spinsters!
Nuns are married to God."
Paddy replied, "Perfect.   Send the bill to my brother-in-law."

I hope Irish eyes are smiling.

Where do you turn for direction?   What are your first thoughts of the day, the last thoughts of at night?  God is still there leading the way. Slow down and pay attention, reach out to Him and seek His guidance.

Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" "Who is he, sir?" the man asked. "Tell me so that I may believe in him."

Who is Jesus to you?  Jesus was always that guy that was in church on Sunday's.  I would see Him hanging on a cross and thought I knew him.

It wasn't until Jesus found me, did I really come to understand who He is.  There are so many that are blind to their faith.  Help them see Jesus in you.

2 John 1:6

And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

Our daily walk is so important, others are watching you as you live life.  They know that Jesus has impacted your life. They are wanting to know is it real, will it last and ultimately, I want what he or she has.

Brothers, the community around you is watching.  In fact they are a little surprised that this is going on with a Catholic retreat.  Walk with pride knowing that God loves you to make an impact in the world around you.

Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.

Jesus I trust in you.  I can't help but think of this prayer this morning.  No matter the situation in your life, turn to Him.  He will guide you to either a resolution or peace.

We don't always know the right course of action but He does.  Be patient, turn to Him, let go and let God.

My prayer today is that God hears your pleas and gives you what you need to handle it.  Jesus, I trust in you.

Luke 11:21-23

"When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe. But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up his plunder. "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

I am reminded this morning that Jesus suffered because of my sins.  He died on the cross of a broken heart.  By the grace of God, He is the one that guards my heart.

Life comes at each of us in different ways.  The devil has a job and he will not stop, ever.   Where are you placing your trust?  If that trust is not placed on Jesus it is destined for failure.

1 Thessalonians 4:7

For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.

We are all called to a life of holiness.  How do we do that in this day and time?  Do we have to go around being all pious? No

It starts when you wake up in the morning, where do your thoughts start at?  Put God first in all that you do.

Will you stumble? Your are human so the answer is yes but the more you put God first the easier it becomes to live a Christ centered life.  Then you just be who you are because God doesn't make junk.  He made you for a purpose and to seek Him.

Live life with Christ at the center, yield to His control today and be amazed!

For our sake he made him to be sin who did not know sin, so that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

Jesus was and is perfect, He is the example of how to live our lives.  He has taken ALL our sins and died for us so that we may be just like Him in our Christian walk.

We sometimes forget that He has already fought the battle.  When we continue to beat ourselves up we negate what He did for us.    Instead, rejoice for Jesus loves and trust us that much to follow in His foot steps.  What a blessing!!

He lives in you, rejoice and be glad.   Have a great day knowing you are loved that much.

If you are not a Christian yet, relax and know that He loves you that much.  Think about it!

Daily Thoughts 03-06-2015

Proverbs 17:17

A friend is a friend at all times, and a brother is born for the time of adversity.

We all need someone to lean on when we are in need.  A brother is a brother in Christ.  He knows what you know, he doesn't judge, he doesn't condemn, he just listens.

We will all deal with adversity in life.  Find that brother or brothers that when you need to be lifted up they are there.  As the song goes, we all need someone to lean on.

Jesus is Lord and He is always there for you.

Daily Thoughts 03-05-2015

1 Peter 4:16

But whoever is made to suffer as a Christian should not be ashamed but glorify God because of the name.

The name of Jesus, there is no other name like it.   We really don't suffer like they did in the days of the apostles.  To be honest most people want a reason to talk about Jesus.

We live in a time where people are hungry for true happiness, they want what you have.  Glorify The Lord with your life today and be the reason God walks into their lives.

Daily Thoughts 03-04-2015

1 Peter 1:21

who through him believe in God who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

We live in a time that some do not believe in God's existence.  Why would anyone come to that conclusion?

God gave us Jesus to be our example, to show us the way to our Father.  Jesus is alive!

Our purpose is to help the non-believer know Him.  It is in the simple things that others see Jesus.  Allow the Holy Spirit to work through you, let Him do the heavy lifting.

Life is more when Jesus is alive!

Daily Thoughts 03-03-2015

John 6:37

Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me,

Have you ever stopped and thought about God's plan for your life?  He provides everything that you will need to fulfill that plan.  When we turn control over to him we will be amazed at where He will take you.

When we try to be lord of our lives we negate the power of God.  We miss the opportunities He has prepared for us and we become burdened with our own decisions.

Start your day off giving Him the glory and see where God takes you.  Have a great day and enjoy the journey!

Daily thoughts 03-02-2015

Romans 8:35

What will separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword?

Nothing will separate us from Jesus other than ourselves.  His love knows no boundaries,  He is always there.

Jesus, I trust in you to lead me today, I trust Lord God that you will direct my path.  May my love for you grow stronger each and every day.  Nothing Lord will separate us as I trust in your loving mercy and promises.

Grow in friendship with Christ, it is the simple daily things that we learn to love the Father more deeply.   Have a blessed day as you walk with The Lord.

Daily Thoughts 03-01/2015

Psalm 105:1

Give thanks to the LORD, invoke his name; make known among the peoples his deeds!

ThankYou Jesus for your guiding hand, for your gentle touch.  We are so blessed to be able to know you Lord.  May we go forth today allowing others to see Jesus in our actions, our gestures and in us.

Be His hands, His feet, His ears, His eyes, His voice. Be His body today and spread the good news with your actions.

Call upon the name above every other name, Jesus, when you need help.

Luke 15:24

because this son of mine was dead, and has come to life again; he was lost, and has been found.' Then the celebration began.

By the grace of God we all find our way home.  There is new life in following Jesus. He celebrated His life by dying for you so you may come to life.  What a joyous reason to celebrate, the lost finding their way home.

Celebrate your life with Jesus by sharing with others.  They do not understand until they see the reason for your hope.

Take refuge in the Lord today and give thanks.
