Revelations 1:8

""I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "the one who is and who was and who is to come, the almighty.""

Trinity Sunday, we are blessed with God, The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit.  Do you recognize the three persons of God.  Do you see how each have unique characteristics from the other yet they are one.  What role do each play in your life?

Prayer to the Holy Trinity

Glory be to the Father, Who by His almighty power and love created me, making me in the image and likeness of God.

Glory be to the Son, Who by His Precious Blood delivered me from hell, and opened for me the gates of heaven.

Glory be to the Holy Spirit, Who has sanctified me in the sacrament of Baptism, and continues to sanctify me by the graces I receive daily from His bounty.

Glory be to the Three adorable Persons of the Holy Trinity, now and forever. Amen.

Acts 6:8

"Now Stephen, filled with grace and power, was working great wonders and signs among the people."

The Holy Spirit leads and guides us each day. It is thru this grace that we reach others, it is not of our power but His power. He just ask us to live life and reach out when the opportunity presents itself.

Similar signs and wonders are being performed today and we have no fear of being stoned to death.

Let His Spirit go forth and spread the word for His glory. Enjoy your day and be at peace.

Ephesians 5:25-26

"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church and handed himself over for her to sanctify her, cleansing her by the bath of water with the word,"

As men of faith, Christ shows us how to love our spouse, fiancé, girlfriend and self for those on their own. He laid down His life for the church and He is our spiritual leader.

Jesus calls us to be that spiritual leader at home. Even when we are weary from a long day, there is time to sit still and visit about Jesus with your family. Something I can never get back but can change going forward.

1 John 4:16

"We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him."

Once we have realized that we are loved by The Father, His love continues to grow within us. We can't help but allow His love to shine through us. As it is written "light shines through the darkness"

You have the opportunity today to reach others who are need of hope, be yourself. Bring those back home who have taken their eyes off of Jesus. It is His people that will change the world through the love He has for them.

Be a difference maker.

Psalms 51:12

"A clean heart create for me, God; renew within me a steadfast spirit."

As we journey through life there is an ebb and flow to it, some days we are flying high, others we are dipping low. Know that God our Father is always there. He is there in the highs and most especially in the lows.

Ask Him for a steadfast spirit that you are always constant in your faith. Sometimes we think it is us who makes things happen when it is really Jesus. Don't rely upon self, rely upon Jesus and be at peace all the time.

May Christ surround you today as you go back into battle, be His valiant solider armed with His grace.

Psalms 94:12-13

"Blessed the one whom you guide, LORD, whom you teach by your instruction, To give rest from evil days, while a pit is being dug for the wicked."

The guiding hand of God, do you see it? Do you yearn for Him in the morning. God blesses each of us in different ways, be thankful in all things great and small. Sometimes His guidance can be found in the simplest things in life.

Pay attention to your surroundings today and see God instructing you as you live life.

Colossians 3:23-24

"Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others, knowing that you will receive from the Lord the due payment of the inheritance; be slaves of the Lord Christ."

Today we celebrate those that fought for our freedom. Jesus also fought for your freedom, your freedom from sin. True freedom is only found in following Jesus.

Jesus did the will of His Father, He did it with all His heart. He knew where real freedom was found. Jesus showed us the way, trust that He will guide you but you must submit to His guidance.

Enjoy your freedom and thank the veterans for giving us the ability to choose our path in life.

1 Corinthians 12:7-10

"To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit. To one is given through the Spirit the expression of wisdom; to another the expression of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit; to another mighty deeds; to another prophecy; to another discernment of spirits; to another varieties of tongues; to another interpretation of tongues."

Do you recognize what gifts the spirit has given you? I remember hearing these verses and not really understanding what they meant. Today I do recognize His gifts, we each have talents that we are entrusted with.

Pray for guidance on what God wants you to do with your gifts. To hide them isn't an option. Thank the Holy Spirit for walking with you and showing you His plan.

May the Holy Spirit fill you with His presence today and may you share your gifts with others for the Glory of Christ's kingdom.

Mark 10:8

"and the two shall become one flesh.' So they are no longer two but one flesh."

We are given the gift of each other by God Himself. It is He who brought you together. The world tries to separate what God has joined, remember that God always has a purpose for both of you. Learn to trust His purpose as well as each other.

May His peace overwhelm you today as you live your life.

John 14:17

"the Spirit of truth, which the world cannot accept, because it neither sees nor knows it. But you know it, because it remains with you, and will be in you."

We each have the opportunity to be the leaven or yeast in the marketplace. To go forth and share the Word of Truth. To be a living example of Christian living.

Don't be hard on yourself if it doesn't come easily, give it time. Speaking for myself, I continue to grow in my faith. Today will be one step closer than yesterday so relax and have fun with being a believer. For the Spirit of Truth is in you.

Enjoy your weekend with your families and rejoice for Jesus is sending us His Spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:4-5

"Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD alone! Therefore, you shall love the LORD, your God, with your whole heart, and with your whole being, and with your whole strength."

There can be only one God in our lives, we can not serve two masters. What are your thoughts focused on? God is the one in control of the universe. Do you think that you can go it alone without him? Do you think you don't need to visit with Him about your plans.

Show God the same love He shows you. It is He who gives you breath. Enjoy your day brothers, time is marching on.

We are created in the image of God and given free will over our actions. We can be the god of our life and make a mess of it or we can allow Jesus to enter in and He be the God of our lives.

There is a difference, one will lead to eventual frustration and unhappiness, the other to eternal happiness and peace.

What are you doing with the life God gave you?

Proverbs 15:1

"A mild answer turns back wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."

Have you ever looked back on a discussion that becomes heated? Usually two people have a different opinion and both believe they are right.

Who's points take hold, neither because neither was listening to the other. Understand where people are at, make your point and then move on. Let the advocate justify the position, He will either convict you or the other.

We have been given another day to be His light, let it shine, people without hope are watching.

John 16:33

"I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.""

When we seek the way of the world, we will always find trouble and turmoil. Peace is only found in seeking The Father. Then no matter what comes at us we are safe for Jesus has defeated the ways of the world.

Do not be troubled at what you see, take courage knowing you are trusted by God. Strengthened for the journey, seek Him in all that you do.

Be amazed at what God has in store for you this week, enjoy His signs.

Revelation 2:10

"Do not be afraid of anything that you are going to suffer. Indeed, the devil will throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will face an ordeal for ten days. Remain faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life."

Our victory is in Jesus Christ, death has no sting. We are tempted every day by the devil, he try's like the dickens to get us to slip up but Jesus Christ has already defeated him.

Stay the course, continue fighting the good fight, keep your eyes on Him and realize that He is waiting for you at the finish line to celebrate victory with you.

Enjoy your day and give Jesus the time that he deserves.

Luke 6:27-30 36-38

 

"But I say to you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also.  Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.  "Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For the measure you give will be the measure you get back."

 

We have to remember, when we forgive we're not doing it just for the other person, we're doing it for our own good. When we don't forgive we live with grudges in our hearts, all we're doing is building walls of separation.  This is not good for us spiritually, emotionally or physically. We are human, we make mistakes and we tend to be judgmental.  If we cannot forgive we have no right to ask for forgiveness.   Drop the stone and live a happier life.

Mark 16:17

"These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages."
‭‭
Do you drive out demons? What about speak new languages? Think about it for a minute.

I venture to say you do speak new languages and you have driven out demons. When Jesus enters into our lives we can't help but change. We can't help but reach out to those in need and cast out demons.

Jesus Christ is Lord and if you believe in Him you were made new again.

John 6:62

What if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?"

Can you imagine, your best friend and teacher was crucified, rose from the dead and came to visit you and then you watch Him ascend up into Heaven. No words would describe the feelings that you would be feeling, it would be all of them.

Awe, is the one that jumps out at me this morning, invincible is another. We have not seen Jesus ascend into Heaven but we can experience the feelings of His disciples.

Be blessed knowing The Master can do all things, be in awe.

Deuteronomy 4:29

"Yet when you seek the LORD, your God, from there, you shall indeed find him if you search after him with all your heart and soul."

Do you ever find yourself searching? Not really sure what it is you need to find? You just know you need to keep looking.

It is the friendship with Jesus that we seek. I want to know more yet don't know what the more is. I trust that my friend will lead me where I need to go.

God is love! Jesus lived His life so we could follow Him. He never belittles others, He never condemned, when someone's way of thinking was wrong he taught in parables. He made them think about what they were doing.

There are those who attack thinking they are doing what God asks, my question is, did Jesus operate in this manner.

We live in interesting times, be the example Jesus taught, praise the name of Jesus today.

2 Corinthians 9:7

"Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
‭‭
God loves a cheerful giver. When we give from the heart, this is what pleases God. If we are feeling pressure or discomfort it isn't from the heart. Giving can be a number of things it isn't just monetary, it is giving of ones time, talent and finances.

We give every day of ourselves to the world. We can give a smile to a stranger or just ignore them. We can offer advice to a neighbor or stay tight lipped because we don't want to get involved.

God loves you on this Monday morning, be His light this week and give it away.

John 15:16

"This I command you: love one another."

How would the world be different if we all followed this command? It would be Heaven on earth. Jesus loved each of us enough to die on a cross.

He commands us to love one another, put aside self and do what the Son of God asks.

Enjoy your day and remember to speak with your mother and share the Love of Jesus with her, it will make her day. If she has passed say a prayer in her memory, that will also make her day.

We all have gifts that will help God, that will remain, much like a fruit tree that produces. Our purpose in life is to grow and get to Heaven. To be a blessing in this world. Have you figured out what fruit you are to bare?

When we are in friendship with Jesus and seeking His purpose then He may give what you ask. For you are of like mind with your friend.

Enjoy your Saturday knowing you are chosen by the Master for a purpose.

John 15:15

"I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have told you everything I have heard from my Father."

Are you a slave to anything? Until we have a relationship with God, we are slaves to many things. We are slaves to sin and sometimes don't even realize it. We think we are a good person yet our life is without purpose. Or if we have purpose it is misguided.

Jesus conveyed His Fathers message by teaching and by actions when on earth. Do you hear The Fathers voice? Are you conveying the Fathers message in your daily live?

Lots of questions today for some reason, Have a happy Friday knowing the Joy of the Lord and hopefully being called a friend of Jesus.

John 15:13-14

"No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you.

As I read this bible verse this is what comes to mind.  I must not think on self but think of others.  What did Jesus do?   He physically laid down His life for ALL.  

We are called to follow what Jesus taught, to reach out, to put our cares aside and help those in need.  It may be a co-worker struggling with something, it may be a friend or neighbor that needs some help.  Or it maybe a total stranger that just needs someone who cares. 

We all have gifts we can share with others, don't bury them, plant them and let them grow.

There is power in the Word of God.  So much can be said about this one sentence.  It can be a guiding statement for one's life, in fact, it should be. 

It erases all hurts and pains, if may also create some pain but it is a motto we should all live by.  So as you go about your day, think upon this one bible verse and let it speak to you today.   

Everyone is seeking basically the same thing and this verse is the answer.

True joy is only found in Jesus, it is not fleeting in fact it continues to grow. It is found in following Jesus, and doing what The Father asks of you.

Our joy is complete in Jesus, this is where true happiness is. Have a blessed day being filled with the joy of Him, Lord I thirst for you.

"As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and remain in his love."

Remain in my love, He is the vine we are the branches. Jesus loves us unconditionally even when we slip and fall. When we focus on Him, we can over come anything.

Continue being fed by Him and ignore what the world is saying. The world tells us there are no commandments but we know different. Keep your eyes on Him and remain in the Love of the Father and The Son.

What a glorious day that God has planned for each of us, pray for each other today that God will impact the world around us.

2 Chronicles 7:3

"All the Israelites looked on while the fire came down and the glory of the LORD was upon the house, and they fell down upon the pavement with their faces to the earth and worshiped, praising the LORD, "who is so good, whose love endures forever.""

In the Old Testament the people were not able to enter the House of God only the high priests. The people had to worship God on the outside.

We on the other hand can kneel before Him in His house. We are called to praise and worship Him. Witness His glory today in mass, you can look upon The Lord, the people of old could not.

Have a blessed Sunday knowing His love endures forever.

Today is going to be another beautiful day and God is in control. His plans we may not know but He has a purpose for every thing. Even that which we don't understand.

Relax and know that His plans are perfect.

"At that same time, with hands outstretched toward the window, she implored favor: "Blessed are you, merciful God! Blessed be your holy and honorable name forever! May all your works forever bless you."

The power of prayer to our Heavenly Father. He hears our requests and blessed us beyond measure. Give Him thanks in all things. Realize the love The Father has for you in your prayer life, you will be amazed.

Prayer works in our lives, God seeks us to seek Him in our daily lives.

Come Holy Spirit and bless us with your favor and Thank You for answering our prayers.
