Week 51 - The Journey 

"In [his] humiliation justice was denied him. Who will tell of his posterity? For his life is taken from the earth.""  ‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:33‬

God is good, His mercy endures forever.   Do we value the life that we have created for ourselves and the gifts that God has and is giving us?  We live in an absolutely amazing time, they are almost apostolic times but not just yet.  

Heaven and hell begins here and each of us with the gift of free will chose our path.  We consciously choose Heaven(God), it takes deliberate actions and our engagement.   Look and listen to the message of the world.  Pay attention to the food that is being given, do not be blind to the Truth.  Not ignore the Divinity of Christ in our everyday lives, He calls and seeks our faithful response.  

In my prayer this morning, this is the image that God was giving.  The divinity of life, His perfect creation that we toss away to feed self.  Heaven or hell, engage in this side of Heaven.  

On April 24, 2007, the same day abortion was legalized in Mexico, after a mass offered for unborn children in the Basilica in which is displayed the miraculous image, a very intense light appeared suddenly on the Tilma. At the level of the womb, the light appeared like a shiny halo, in the shape of an embryo. Experts have testified that it is not a reflection or something added, rather it comes from the Tilma and is in the exact location of a woman's womb. Witnesses were able to take photographs and even to film the phenomenon that went on for a full hour.

What is God saying to me?  My reality of life appears to each of you.  Your souls know the truth and your response is your reality.  

Dear Father, I sit and listen all the day, I look and see the ways of the world and wonder why.  Why are we blind to Your existence, why do we deny You life, why do we not see the beauty of Divinity.  I trust You with all my heart, all my souls and all my body.  In You is everlasting life, be merciful to us O'Lord.  Amen.

Week 50 - The Journey Glorifying God

"the Lord came and stood there, calling out as before: Samuel, Samuel! Samuel answered, "Speak, for your servant is listening.""  ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭3:10‬

"Listen."  I have been drawn to the story of Samuel and have been for awhile.  Here is a young man living in the world that has not learned to recognize the voice of God.  He is blind to His voice and God has to raise His voice to get his attention.  

The all knowing and all powerful God seeks each of us out on a personal level.  Those that slow down to listen will learn how to recognize His voice.  Those seeking validation from outside sources will receive the only validation that is lasting from Him.  

Our world continues to turn, the voices continue to spin and twist the truth but God continues to seek the lost any lonely with one simple word. "LISTEN".   Have a blessed day His servants never stop listening and are called to do His will.  

What is God saying to me?  In the darkness Samuel did hear my voice but didn't always recognize it as Mine.  

Dear Lord God, here I am, I come to do Your will at this moment and every moment that You are in control.  Bless this day and all it has to offer.  In every moment may we recognize You as we call out to You with every breath from above.  To the Risen Christ, AMEN.
