Luke 1:26-30 NABRE
"In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary. And coming to her, he said, “Hail, favored one! The Lord is with you.” But she was greatly troubled at what was said and pondered what sort of greeting this might be. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God."
Today is the Solemnity for "IMMACULATE CONCEPTION"
"God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called".
Have you ever thought how Mary felt when the angel of the Lord appeared. She would have been around the age of 13/14. She was scared what what was being asked of her, but she said yes.God gives us the grace to accomplish His will when we say yes. Mary had no idea what the yes would lead to at the time but she trusted God.Do you need to place your trust in Jesus?
Be amazed, be truly amazed when you say yes, even though you are scared of the unknown.
