Philippians 2:3-5
"Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves, each looking out not for his own interests, but [also] everyone for those of others. Have among yourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus,"
Why do we let our pride, our ego, our own self importance get in the way? Did Christ always win? No, from the worlds viewpoint, He lost. But He really won, He shows us the way each and every day.
As a good friend of mind says, "drop the stone". What stones do you need to let go of? I know pride is one of mine. Be thankful for what you are being blessed with. Realize that God is in control so my stone of pride only gets in the way of Christ's attitude.
