1 John 4:10
"In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins."
For God to love us we don't have to do anything to gain that love. We are loved unconditionally, nothing we do can ever lose God's love. We don't have to be good in order for God to love us.
The world on the other hand that is s different story. We have to be perfect, we have to this and that yet it never satisfies. Only Jesus satisfies, that is why He came and died on a cross for you and me. You are loved by God, and have purpose.
Lord, walk with me today, help me understand how much you love me. Help me share that love with others and help me know what is important in life. Jesus, I trust in you today.
