Today is the feast day of the Archangels, Saint Michael, Saint Gabriel and Saint Raphael. Have you stopped and thought about the fight that goes on each day with good and evil. We each know that it is a real fight that occurs all the time.
"For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens." Ephesians 6:12. Prayer and the word of God are our shield in our daily journey. We know how the story ends, it is just everything in the middle we have to find out each day.
Dear Lord God, Thank You for giving each of us a guardian angel to watch over us each day. Thank You St. Michael being our defender in battle, may we remember to call upon him each day as we awake. Watch over us today St. Michael and be our protection against the snares of the devil. May we help each other in our journeys to bring more of Christ into the world. I ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
