"And one of them, realizing he had been healed, returned, glorifying God in a loud voice;"
Luke 17:15
Luke 17:15
Ten called out and were cleansed yet only one of them returned glorifying God. I have been one of the nine in my life. When we need help we always turn to God and He always responds. We get our prayers answered and do not return to give thanks. Maybe we forget or we have more important things to do or we don't realize that God answered our request.
How do we glorify God in a loud voice? Acknowledge it was God who healed you, be a witness to His love for you and always remember to give thanks for all your blessings. Glorify Him with your life for greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world.
Dear Heavenly Father, I am sorry for my past transgressions when I did not glorify you. I seek only to glorify You for all Your blessings in my life. May I remember it was the Samaritan that returned and it was also a Good Samaritan that stopped to help a victim along the side of the road. May our lives glorify you in actions that bring life into this world. I sing praise to You today for healing Your servant. In Jesus name, amen.
