www.dailythoughts.com 4-17-2018 Acts 7:51

""You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always oppose the holy Spirit; you are just like your ancestors." ‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:51‬

How do you know if you are doing or saying the right thing?  You listen to the Holy Spirit and hear what He is saying.  Is your response that of love, is it actions or words that Jesus would say?  We each have the gifts of the Holy Spirit, do we let them lay dormant in us or do we bring them to life.  As you read the story of Stephen, the witnesses were hearing the Spirit of God but were ignoring Him.  "But they cried out in a loud voice, covered their ears, and rushed upon him together." Acts‬ ‭7:57‬   In our own lives we do the same thing, each of us are made in His image, we are wonderfully made.  Do not cover up His image with sin, or doubt, or ignore the Holy Spirit.  What truths are you ignoring because you don't want to hear them.  Trust in the Holy Spirit and ask Him to guide you.  Or be stiff necked and not listen, that's the great thing about free will, you get to choose.

Dear Lord God, I am thankful I have been circumcised in Spirit, I hear You loud and clear.  I trust You unconditionally even when the outcome isn't what I want.  Open our ears to hear You and do not let us rest until You have accomplished Your will.  Thank You Jesus for safe travels and a joyous journey. Prayers for a friend who is deciding upon his future may He be open to Your Holy Spirit.   Bless this day Lord, guide our actions that pleases You and does not oppose Your Holy Spirit.  Jesus, I trust in You.  Amen.

Mary, Queen of Angels, pray for us.

May you be super-sensitive to the Holy Spirit and May you respond as Jesus would.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
