Week 36 - The Journey
"When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, "Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the infant in my womb leaped for joy. Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled." The Canticle of Mary." Luke 1:41-42, 44-45

The Divine Presence. Jesus enters the home of Elizabeth and John announces His arrival. His perception as an unborn child acknowledges the King of Glory. Elizabeth as well greets the unborn King in the Spirit of God.
Her words are filled with His, she has been pondering the mystery of God and is overwhelmed with joy. The purity of this scene helps each of us on our own journey. Do we recognize the Divine Mystery? Do we ponder the mystery of God.
Mary, carries Jesus into the home and they are introduced. What events in our own lives must happen before we slow down to ponder the Divine Mystery. Does our hearts skip a beat when we enter the mystery, knowing we will encounter God in the stillness of the moment. Perceive what God is saying to you and believe as Mary, John the Baptist and Elizabeth do.
What is God saying to you? A life without sin receives the full reality of My mystery in the moment of time.
Dear Lord God, to sit and ponder this moment in time and see Your Divine Presence is a mystery. It is something that can be grasped and experienced. You see our circumstances and bring about the transformation that is necessary for our own salvation. Thank You Father of the ever so minute reminders of Your presence in this day. Awaken our senses to Your Divinity. I ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Mary, Queen Mother, Pray for us.
St Joesph, Most Ardent, Pray for us.
