Vision. The readings over the last two days have not been easy ones. They cause one to think and they paint images that do not make a lot of sense. Daniel faces the same challenges as he grapples with what God gave him to write. The one common theme that comes to me is vision. Sitting within prayer, it is God that gives us vision to grapple with these days and it is He who is our strength.
Jesus tells us to be vigilant and to pray to have the strength to stand before the Son of Man when He comes. Is that not what we do when we spend time in prayer. Isn't it God who we are present to, are not the images that He gives a vision from Him that we take into our days. Strength comes from repeating a task till the point you become strong then it is the opportunity to maintain that strength by continuing doing what got you there.
Within prayer is all our answers along with peace to spend time with God where there is no tribulation, if He is our source and summit. Enjoy your day! Armor on.
Dear Father, we have journeyed these past few days chewing upon Daniels vision and being attentive to Your Holy Spirit. Help us see what You are preparing for each of us. Open our hearts and minds to receive You within our time together in prayer and to witness to you in our day. Continue to strengthen us so we are vigilant and prepared. Jesus, we trust in You. Love Your son.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4b
Father help me see what you're cooking for my destiny
