Matthew 6:20
"But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal."
What are treasures in heaven? The streets are made of gold so no need for that up there. "In just the same way, I tell you, there will be rejoicing among the angels of God over one sinner who repents." Luke 15:10. It would stand to reason if the Angels rejoice then this would be a treasure.

So how do I store up treasure in Heaven? It is only thru my actions then can I store up. Have I repented of all my sins? Do I help others find their way home. Am I a good imitator of the saints that have gone before me. Is my heart in the game, am I at least trying?
Dear Triune God, send us your Holy Spirit to teach us and lead us today. Thank you God for showing us others that are workers in the field. Thank you Lord God for their yield. May you bless each of us today with your presence and may today we build our treasure not on earth but in Heaven. May we give the Angels reason to rejoice. I ask this through Jesus Christ, Amen.
