Carrying grudges, do you think Jesus carried any grudges? Not a one, He tells us to deal with them. I know we can be hurt by others, but eternity isn't worth giving up over some earthly matters. God wants your gifts but more importantly He wants a clean heart before the gift. "A clean heart create for me, God; renew within me a steadfast spirit." Psalms 51:12. It is time.
Dear Lord God, we let things get in the way, show us how love can overcome all our earthly desires. Help us see past hurts and pains for they affect You, especially on the cross. Thank You Lord for dying on the cross for my salvation may I be strengthened by the pain You endured for me. Bless this day Lord God, I ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit to continue to cleanse my heart. In Jesus name, Amen.
