"Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours." Psalm 128:1-2
Living in peace at all times requires us to walk in obedience to Him. We will eat the fruit of our handiwork, when things ain't going right it is most likely because we did it our way. "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20. There is new life in Christ, the old is gone and only He lives in you, be obedient to His will, slow down and think, what would Jesus do? Then you will enjoy the fruit of your labor.
Dear Lord, sometimes we have to swallow a bitter pill because we created the outcome. Remove any greed or envy from my spirit. Lead me today Lord to do Your will, Your Spirit speaks thru me, thru my actions and thru my responses. Teach me Lord to always be obedient to You and our Heavenly Father, in Jesus name, Amen.
