Do you ever take an accounting of where you are at? As I reflect this morning with this scripture, I realize that I have done this with my business self, and my physical but not my spiritual. What is God telling me? Do we take an accounting of where we are at spiritually? Will we set some objectives for the coming year to grow in truth? God is speaking, am I listening? "But when [God], who from my mother's womb had set me apart and called me through his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son to me, so that I might proclaim him to the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult flesh and blood," Galatians 1:15-16. It is a new year and a new beginning, be patient, sit at His feet upon the cross and wait for His answer.
Good morning Father, I enjoy our visits in the morning and where you lead me in thought. You know that I desire to know You more intimately. I thank You Father for this past year, both the successes and the failures. I look forward to what is to come as I wait upon You. Thank You for ears that hear and are guided to the truth. Prayers for those that are dealing with difficult challenges and are seeking help, may they recognize the soft whisper of Your voice in their hearts. Bless this day and continue to guide our thoughts and steps. Amen.
