"At that very moment he rejoiced [in] the holy Spirit and said, "I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will." Luke 10:21
Can you envision Jesus rejoicing in the Holy Spirit? Do you know you can participate in this same excitement and revelation? I think back to my childhood and the excitement and awe Christmas was to me. The anticipation of Christmas morning was unreal, it was the gifts under the tree that created that. As I grew up, the truth was revealed and this awe and excitement went away. This morning, as a close my eyes and contemplate His Word, that same awe and excitement is back because truth is being revealed. Each day, with childlike faith, I sit at His feet. There is something special to participate in His Divine life, to have a whole new world opened up to you, a little peek at a time. "but Jesus said, "Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."" Matthew 19:14
Dear Father God, I sit in awe and wonderment as You stir my heart and mind. I thank You for this grace and desire that only You can instill. I thank You for the images and words that You allow to penetrate my spirit. I thank You Father for the changes that are going on, the growth of Your Holy Faith, I thank You Father for this day. I am Yours, use me as You will. I ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
