Daily Thoughts 10-24-2016 Ephesians 5:1-2

"So be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love, as Christ loved us and handed himself over for us as a sacrificial offering to God for a fragrant aroma."
‭‭
Something for you to think about today - How did Christ show His love to us?   How did He view others?  Did He speak ill of them or did He help them?  Did He laugh at crude jokes?  Did He make fun of others?

It states it clearly that we are to be imitators of God and to live in love as Christ did.  We are each called differently to express that love and we must do our part.  Be conscious of your actions and what they are saying to others.  Keep each other in your prayers today and ask that God may strengthen each of us for His purpose.

Dear Lord, the word struggles against us, please show us ways to share your love and not the message of the world.  Help us think of You and what You did when confronted with evil.   I am sorry for the times I haven't shared Your love by my actions.  I ask for Your forgiveness and Your grace to do better next time.  Be our light today Lord as we begin again another week of work.   In Jesus name, amen.

Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.
