"Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst." John 6:35
How is your prayer life? I realized recently that I needed to breath new life into mine and you know something God put this verse in front of me. There are lots of things that come at us, how we handle them is up to us. Where do you turn?
The Father waits patiently for us to come to Him, He fills us each time we come. We just have to come to Him. Just like eating a meal or putting gas in our car, we have to stop and feed ourselves or fill a thirsty car. Our prayer life, mass and adoration are some of the fuel stations of life. So all Jesus asks is for us to come, He does the rest.
Lord God, I am thankful Lord for Your blessings, I am thankful Lord for speaking to my spirit in the tiniest ways. You Lord know my needs and wants and You always respond when I come. May I always slow down and come to You each and everyday of my life. May You breath new life into me when I come and may I never go hungry or thirsty. In Jesus name, amen.
Mary, Queen of apostles, pray for us.
