"For the grace of God has appeared, saving all and training us to reject godless ways and worldly desires and to live temperately, justly, and devoutly in this age,"
As followers of Christ, we are always being trained and guided by the Holy Spirit. Doing all that we are asked to do is our task at hand. This never ends in this age for we do not attain our true happiness until we are with The Father in heaven. Therefore we must not rest thinking I am a good and faithful servant because of what I do. You are only doing what is expected of you. The day you believe you have arrived is the day you begin to lose.
Dear Lord God, may I never think better of my self because of my actions. May I never take my hand off the plow for the work is never done. May I be the dutiful servant doing the task at hand not thinking anything other than to please You. Lord, I ask that the joy in my heart increase this is reward enough for all that You are doing. Bring peace into our day and guide us on our path. In Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Mother of all, pray for us Sweet Lady, Amen.
