"The voice of one crying out in the desert: "Prepare the way of the Lord! Make straight the paths of our God, in a solitary place." Isaiah 40:3
Can we live at this time and be in the desert? A desert is a very parched land that is thirsty, thirsty for the truth. We can become complacent in our faith thinking we have it all figured out and not hear the cry in the wilderness. That message cant be for me, it is must be for someone else. Are your words and actions preparing the way of the Lord? Or are you drowning from the message of the world? Find a little alone time and reflect upon this scripture, what is it saying to you?
Lord God, I come before you knowing that there are times I am not always listening to the cry, may I slow down and pay attention. May my actions prepare the way for the Lord. For You are coming Lord Jesus and I want to be ready and not caught off guard. Lord bless this day with peace and give grace to those that are starting off on a new adventure. In Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Queen of Heaven, pray for us.
Come Lord Jesus, Come.
