WEEK TWELVE: THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT DAY 6

WEEK TWELVE: THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT DAY 6

MORNING FACE TO FACE WITH GOD:
Begin with Prayer to the Holy Spirit

REPETITION OF DAYS FOUR AND FIVE:
Ask for an intimate knowledge of our Lord, who has become man for me, that I may love Him more and follow Him more closely (#104)

Today, you are doing a repetition of Days Four and Five of this week. In a repetition St. Ignatius says that "we should pay attention to and dwell upon those points in which we have experienced greater consolation or desolation or greater spiritual appreciation." (# 62). If you wish, you can do a triple colloquy: refer to #63 of the Third Exercise of the First Week.

When you read the verses of the past two days, it is a harsh reality.  Matthew 7:7-8 and Mathew 7:24, 26.  In that quiet conversation with God He will reveal to you your reality and what it is that you need to ask for.  He is the Keeper of your soul.

What is God saying to you?  You have not because you ask not.  I have answered your prayers in the past, I will answer these as well.  Go in peace with My love in your heart.

Dear Father, it is good that we are here, something special happens when You share of Yourself through Your Word and through Your Holy Family.  I thank You for Your guidance and the quiet assurance that you are the keeper of my soul.  I thank You for answered prayers this morning, I know You are working all things out.  Watch over us this day and keep us safe, guard us from the evil one and may we be prepared for what tomorrow brings.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Queen of Peace, Pray for us.
St Joesph, Light of Patriarchs, Pray for us.
Viva Cristo Rey.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
