Daily Thoughts - Anew
"Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled, and the skins will be ruined. Rather, new wine must be poured into fresh wineskins." Luke 5:37-38
I sit with Paul and Jesus this morning and listen to them. Paul never arrives at his destination until his judgement day. Each day is a new day for he has changed a little each day. New wine is being poured in his spirit for the one who judges is also the one who pours in the new wine.
Are you willing to change, are you striving each day to advance or have you arrived and the wine skin has matured. When listening to God, He teaches and we chose to listen. "He must increase; I must decrease." John 3:30
Dear Father, I sit and listen, each day brings about new lessons that we are to apply. As I sit and watch, I ask for your help and gudnabce in the path forward. May our choices glorify You and are about Your Kingdom, in Jesus name, Amen.
