Daily Thoughts - Rend my heart.
From you let my judgment come; your eyes behold what is right. Though you test my heart, searching it in the night, though you try me with fire, you shall find no malice in me. Psalms 17:2-3
Have you given your heart to God? Are you living within His temple, within the upper room. I watch as Job has his life as he knew it torn apart yet he was unwavering He was upright in his approach, there was no malice on the inside He trusted God completely and lived within the upper room.
God the Father knew his heart for they are one. "And rend your heart and not your garments." Now return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness And relenting of evil." Joel 2:13
"He said, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, And naked I shall return there. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord."" Job 1:21
Dear Father, life happens, it comes at us and we must deal with what comes. Give us the grace and trust that you give to Job. Help us see thru the circumstances of each day and count our blessings especially when it doesn't go as planned. You always reveal Yourself in small ways revealing the truth of grace. Thank You Father for allowing me to wait as we journey together. In Jesus name, Amen.
