Daily Thoughts 3-21-2016 John 12:9-10

John 12:9-10

"[The] large crowd of the Jews found out that he was there and came, not only because of Jesus, but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. And the chief priests plotted to kill Lazarus too,"

Holy Week, the journey home begins. It may seem like a strange question but are you threatened by Jesus? Peter must of been for why would he deny Him three times. To follow Jesus is to go beyond our own boundaries, to be an example as Lazarus was.

We numb our minds with frivolous stuff not really paying attention to our surroundings. We focus on our own comfort while ignoring how it impacts others. Make this week different, turn off the noise and just be docile, listen for God. Maybe you don't believe, what do you have to lose? Nothing and the worst that can happen is you will gain some peace.

Dear Lord God, we live in a world that wants to turn you off. Help us be a Lazarus to someone today. Open our hearts to speak to someone in need. Sends us your Holy Spirit that we may live the Gospels in our world. I thank You for your love and understanding. In your most holy name, Jesus.

Come Holy Spirit
