Psalms 51:19
"My sacrifice, O God, is a contrite spirit; a contrite, humbled heart, O God, you will not scorn."
Sorry, isn't always easy to say. You may feel justified in not having to say you are sorry. Is that a contrite and humbled heart? Knowing who you are is the beginning.
To be able to stand before God and truly be sorry is a blessing. God knows what we are capable of yet He forgives us, He will never turn us away. Be open to God's mercy, stand there with a contrite heart and accept His grace of true forgiveness.
Lord God, there are many suffering that are in need of your mercy. Send your Holy Spirit and heal these wounded souls. Help them with your grace to understand the love you have for them even with all they may have done. In Jesus name, amen.
