Hebrews 12:12-13
"So strengthen your drooping hands and your weak knees. Make straight paths for your feet, that what is lame may not be dislocated but healed."
REFLECTION:
As we are soon to begin Holy Week, let us get our spiritual body in shape. Get rid of all of the distractions we have and make room for Jesus in our heart, mind and soul. If you have done wrong and sinned, now is the time to reconcile yourself, make your soul clean and pure. The weight of sin is making you lame and off of the path of Jesus, the path of salvation. Let Jesus lighten your burden so that getting back on His path can be accomplished. Sin is what keeps us away from being in full communion with Him and now is a time of renewal and Jesus can make you new again. In Hebrews 12:7, it is written,"Endure your trials as discipline; God treats you as sons. For what "son" is there whom his father does not discipline?" The trials we go though makes us form a disciplined behavior and it is this behavior that is the foundation of being a good Christian. Offer your trials up to Jesus so that you can fully appreciate all He has done and continues to do for you.
PRAYER:
Most precious and merciful Jesus, let me prepare myself spiritually to be in full communion with your suffering and death so that I may be worthy to celebrate Your glorious resurrection. You are truly the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world and I am eternally grateful for all of Your love, compassion and mercy. In Your name, amen
YBIC
