Isaiah 10:13
"For he says: "By my own power I have done it, and by my wisdom, for I am shrewd. I have moved the boundaries of peoples, their treasures I have pillaged, and, like a mighty one, I have brought down the enthroned."
Where does your power come from? Is it you that gives you abilities? Is it you that makes things happen in your life? If God wants something to happen He will make it happen or not happen. Sometimes we get the big head and think it is all us.
Slow down and realize that it is God that gives you your gifts. Honor Him with your time, reach out and speak to Him. Sometimes we don't need God when it seems to be going good, well it won't always be that way. You will hit a bump and know that you have no power and then you need God. Don't wait for that, speak to Him now.
Dear Lord God, you are so good to us and so patience. I thank you for being in my life, I thank you for my days starting with you in my thoughts and on my tongue. May today be a day to honor you, may I be the person you made me to be. May my will take a back seat because I need you in my life. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
