Jeremiah 7:2-3
"Stand at the gate of the house of the LORD and proclaim this message there: Hear the word of the LORD, all you of Judah who enter these gates to worship the LORD! Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Reform your ways and your deeds so that I may dwell with you in this place."
How do you worship our God? Is it reverent? Is it with respect? Is it forgotten after you have left church on Sunday? Do you even go to church?
Lots of question but have you considered how Jesus worshipped His God during His life? I can assure you, He knew His Jewish faith and customs. As a Catholic man I have come to learn what gifts that Jesus has left His church. Would you like to learn more about your faith and how I believe Jesus honored His Father. A testimonial from Andy Nunmaker who attended the last retreat.
"The name of the retreat that God's Embrace is conducting is "Lead Me Into the Deep, Lord". This is the perfect name for this retreat because I came away with a deeper feeling of faith and a deeper relationship with God. If you have been on an ACTS retreat you will see some similarities, but it is different, much different. The sense of community was evident from the very beginning. We had very interesting and stimulating group conversations that were incredibly interesting and insightful. Perhaps the most amazing experience was the Healing Service. I had never been to one but I truly thirst for more. The weekend ended with a group mass at the queen of the painted churches, St. Mary. Fr. Wayne offered an wonderful mass and Deacon Doug gave a sermon that was truly inspirational. I want to go deeper…."
Dear Heavenly Father, your scripture readings today speak to my soul, I ask that as in 1 Corinthians 3:6 You cause the growth. I ask that Your message spread far and wide. I also ask that Your people be brought back to Your Church to honor and worship You as You have instructed our Church Fathers. Thank You for your blessings in advance and may all come to praise your name, Jesus, Amen.
Enjoy this spirit filled song and please share this message. May God have mercy on the whole world!
