Psalms 89 - staying centered

"Blessed the people who know the war cry, who walk in the radiance of your face, LORD. In your name they sing joyfully all the day; they rejoice in your righteousness. You are their majestic strength; by your favor our horn is exalted. Truly the LORD is our shield, the Holy One of Israel, our king!

Blessed be the LORD forever! Amen and amen!"  ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭89:16-19, 53‬

Psalms 89 - staying centered.  We begin a new day, sitting in my prayer room reflecting upon my Father in Heaven and upon His word.  This is a peaceful place, love begets love and we both know that we will enter the streets where not everyone begins this way.

As God's people, surround yourself in prayer, slow down and do not react to the world around you, walk in peace, stay centered in God's word.  We can easily find ourselves being drawn into the fight, listening to the rhetoric and responding, only adding fuel to the fire.  Love begets love and hate/violence begets hate and violence.  Jesus wasn't changed by the world, He changed the world, begin again grounded in the love of Christ.

What is God saying to me:  My words are penetrating your spirit and revealing truth, live in peace.

Dear Father, I love You and I hurt when You hurt.  Thank You Father for giving us a place of promise, of hope, for a life that gives You and us joy.  There are many prayers this morning Lord, the most important one is that we have ears to hear You.  You are pure love and You are the answer to what all are seeking.  Bring about peace and joy during these labor pains, it will be a glorious day.  Blessed be the Holy name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
