Psalms 90 - Do not toil in vain

"Seventy is the sum of our years, or eighty, if we are strong; Most of them are toil and sorrow; they pass quickly, and we are gone.

Teach us to count our days aright, that we may gain wisdom of heart.

Fill us at daybreak with your mercy, that all our days we may sing for joy.

May the favor of the Lord our God be ours. Prosper the work of our hands! Prosper the work of our hands!"  ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭90:10, 12, 14, 17‬

Psalms 90 - Do not toil in vain.  Being who God created you to be takes conscious effort.  Life passes by quickly and we can waste it away by not even being engaged in our eternity.  A life dedicated to loving God gains wisdom, gains understanding, gains insight and is precious in the sight of God for the life is fulfilling its purpose.  A life going through the motions, or building a Tower of Babel is still precious in the sight of God but it lives for itself.  It's eternity will be separated from God.  Life has a purpose, know you're purpose by listening to God, being guided by the Holy Spirit and waiting upon your treasure that resides in Heaven.

What is God saying to me: I see what you see and each has free will to choose their own eternity.  Open up My word to them, love My creation, created in My image.

Dear Father, speak softly into our spirits so we may discern Your voice over the voice of the evil one.  Turn us back to loving and honoring You, may we all understand we are created in Your Image and likeness.  Give us a dedicated focus to loving You and fulfilling the mission we were created for.  We are all Your sons and daughters, bring the lost home and may we who know You imitate Your Son Jesus this day.  I ask this in the mighty name of Jesus.  Amen.

Mary, Our Lady of Sorrows, Pray for us.
