Isaiah 57:1-2 The Just

"The just have perished, but no one takes it to heart; The steadfast are swept away, while no one understands. Yet the just are taken away from the presence of evil, and enter into peace; They rest upon their couches, the sincere, who walk in integrity."  ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭57:1-2‬

Isaiah 57:1-2  The Just.  Who are the just and what happens to them?  The just live in peace, they are steadfast and they walk in truth, there is no duplicity within them.  Can we achieve that while alive?  Yes, we can, Jesus lived in peace, He was steadfast and He is truth.  I used to think that the just did the will of the Father and they do but there can be unwillingness in our own will, this isn't peace there is still duplicity within us.  The just are those who's will is the one and the same of the Father.  Their desire is neither for or against but to do what brings about peace in souls.  We can live there today, not easy but it is achievable with the help of God.

What is God saying to me:  The images help along with the memories, you learn from your past mistakes.  As you do Peace rises up within you for you recognize the path of Peace and the path of evil.  Integrity of spirit is the beginning of Peace.

Dear Father, it is always good to be in Your Presence on my couch, there is peace when You and I sit and visit.  You see the struggle as we journey together, I am trusting in You to lead the way, to remove the duplicity within as Peace is the goal.  I am thankful for the quietness this morning, for the time to just be and listen.  I know some may not understand but they don't know what they don't know.  I see Your Sons desire for all to understand and I see the blindness that keeps them from knowing.  Break thru the darkness Lord and shed light upon those that need it most.  I ask this in Your most Holy Name, Triune God be my all, Triune God be my all, Triune God be my all.  Thank You Father, Amen.
