Week 5 - The Kingdom of Christ, The Word became flesh Day 6
"MORNING FACE TO FACE WITH GOD:
REPETITION OF DAYS THREE, FOUR, AND FIVE: Begin with Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Ask for an intimate knowledge of our Lord, who has become man for me, that I may love Him more and follow Him more closely (#104)
Today, you are doing a repetition of Days Three, Four, and Five of this week. In a repetition St. Ignatius says that "we should pay attention to and dwell upon those points in which we have experienced greater consolation or desolation or greater spiritual appreciation (# 62). If you wish, you can do a triple colloquy: refer to #63 of the Third Exercise of the First Week."

Today, I repeated the last three days and journeyed with Mary and Joesph as they went from inn to inn, facing rejection and being turned away. I seen the coldness of people and their uncaring of this pregnant couple. I seen Mary in Peace as she was praying and thanking God for who was coming. I seen Joesph feeling the need to find a place for the birth of Christ, not sure where but knowing God will provide. I also seen Mary as she walked with Jesus to Calvary with these same Peace about her, still suffering but not really showing it. She knew God was at work and she knew it had to be this way. It was like a flashback to the birth of Christ.
Can we find this Peace and holiness that Mary and Joesph have? As you walk this planet be compassionate with others, we do not know their struggle, your kind word or a couple of quarters may be just the gift that they need.
What is God saying to you? I prepare the way, I create the perfect place and you will be ready.

Dear Triune God, thank You for the travels this morning, for the journey with Mary to witness her calmness and holiness as she completely trusted in You. Thank for the simple opportunities to respond to You and see humanity as it struggles to make its way through this world. May I always see Christ in the face of others, may I be intentional this day and do Your will. Thank You Father for the gift of time to see You at work. Prayers for the coming week and the patience of Joesph. I ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus.
Immaculate Mary, Conceived without sin, Pray for us.
St Joesph, Most Strong, Pray for us.
Viva Cristo Rey
