Daily Thoughts - We are an Easter People.
"God looked at everything he had made, and found it very good. Evening came, and morning followed—the sixth day." Genesis 1:31
"I also heard a voice say to me, 'Get up, Peter. Slaughter and eat.' But I said, 'Certainly not, sir, because nothing profane or unclean has ever entered my mouth.' But a second time a voice from heaven answered, 'What God has made clean, you are not to call profane.' This happened three times, and then everything was drawn up again into the sky." Acts 11:7-10
God made clean. Peter is good and Peter was made clean in his relationship with God. God does not make junk. Are you listening to His direction and being made clean?
Dear Father, it is a blessed morning as we journey together. You burn a scripture within my thoughts and You speak. I thank You for the gift of hearing, the ability to discern what is being said. Your creation is beautiful and we are to be drawn to You thru Your voice. Prayers for a world confused with noise, for a world laid astray by the strangers voice. May we hear as You speak into our day. Prayers for a friend going thru some stuff. In Jesus name, Amen.
