Deuteronomy 30:17
"If, however, your heart turns away and you do not obey, but are led astray and bow down to other gods and serve them. I tell you today that you will certainly perish; you will not have a long life on the land which you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess."
We have started the journey with Christ towards His death and resurrection. Where is your heart at? Are you washing your hands because that is the letter of the law?
During this Lenten season, feed your heart. Do something that draws you closer to Jesus and His passion. It doesn't take much, God asks us to be obedient. He knows your heart, what is it telling you to do?
Lord God, help us grow closer to you this Lenten season. Open our hearts to your passion. Help us see how we can act each day to those around us. I thank you for walking with me, especially today. In Jesus name, amen.
