1 Peter 5:3
"Do not lord it over those assigned to you, but be examples to the flock."
Who is assigned to you? We all have someone assigned to us. It starts at home, with your spouse and your children, your family. In fact it starts with you, you are to be the example to those closest to you.
Those at work they are assigned to you as well. Do they see and hear Jesus on your lips? Jesus only spoke truth not something that is always found at work. Truth is truth, be the living example people so desperately need.
Lord God as we start our day, please guide our steps, send your legion of angels to protect us. May I be a living example and when I slip up, may I turn to you for forgiveness. In your most holy name, Jesus. Amen.
