Luke 16:24
"And he cried out, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me. Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am suffering torment in these flames.'"
We have all heard the story of Lazarus and the rich man. Are you that rich man in your llife? Do you see what is going on around you or does the world revolve around you?
Our time to prepare for Heaven is while we are on earth. What benefit is it to gain the world yet lose your soul in the process. Do not become the rich man suffering torment. God sees your efforts or lack of effort
Dear Lord God, there are so many that are lost. Help us see past our riches to be able to help those in need. It maybe a coworker or friend. I thank you for this day you have prepared for us, and may we go out into the world to quench the thirsty. In your most holy name, Jesus.
