Daily Thoughts 11-14-2016 Revelations 2:3-4

"Moreover, you have endurance and have suffered for my name, and you have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: you have lost the love you had at first." Revelation‬ ‭2:3-4‬

Here is a question for you, can following Christ become hohum?  Have you been painting God inside a box?  There is a newness to being a Christian then that becomes normal over time.  Christ is never normal, He goes beyond anything we can think off.  I believe Jesus is telling us to never stop seeking Him for there is newness every single day of our lives.   Remember He is God and greater than anything we can comprehend.  Look for ways to bring the newness of Christ into your life, help someone who doesn't know Him.

Dear Lord, may I never stop searching You out Lord.  May I seek ways of seeing You in others, in those I meet and in those that are in need of help.  Lord may my dry bones come alive through Your Holy Spirit.  I am overwhelmed Lord at the vastness of Christ, bring newness to my day.   Bring joy into my heart Lord and help those weary travelers be renewed in Your Spirit.  May Your Holy Spirit enliven our spirits.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Queen of protection, pray for us.
