Daily Thoughts 1-18-2017 Mark 3:5

"Looking around at them with anger and grieved at their hardness of heart, he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out and his hand was restored." Mark‬ ‭3:5‬

Jesus is angry, why? The Pharisees didn't care about those around them, they didn't have compassion for their fellow man, they were better than that. The man with a withered hand was being punished by God, they, the Pharisees, were good or so they thought. What about you, do you see someone in need or do you pass judgement on them? What about the man standing on the corner needing help, what do you see? God see's His creation that needs restored, be careful not to anger God.

Dear Lord God, we can become like the Pharisees thinking we have it all figured out. May we not miss an opportunity to help our fellow man, may we realize that it is by your grace that we are blessed. I ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit today to help me witness Your love in action. Give us hands of faith so we may do Your work. I offer this day to You Lord God, may I not waste it. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.
