What battles are you dealing with in your life? Is it your battle or the Lords? A lot of times we want to take matters into our own hands and go fix it but do we prepare ourselves for the battle? What skills and talents has God given you? David had a sling and a fearless attitude. God gave him the ability to take out his attackers with a small stone, not your conventional way to go into battle. What has God given you that will render the enemy defenseless? He has prepared you for this but remember the battle is the Lords. If it is your battle and not His then He will not be by your side. "Do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, that it may go well with you, and you may enter in and possess the good land which the LORD promised on oath to your ancestors," Deuteronomy 6:18
Dear Father God, I trust in You that You are leading me. You have prepared me for this time in my life and You have given me the strength and ability to deal with these situations. You have given us peace, may we be at peace with our decisions and may You rule over us. I pray for a family who lost a father and a husband recently. He fought the good fight in this world, may he rest in Peace. I also pray for an ACTS brother who is facing prostrate cancer, may the peace of Christ be in his heart and the love of Jesus on his tongue, He is a good man! I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
