"He said, "This is how it is with the kingdom of God; it is as if a man were to scatter seed on the land and would sleep and rise night and day and the seed would sprout and grow, he knows not how. Of its own accord the land yields fruit, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. And when the grain is ripe, he wields the sickle at once, for the harvest has come." Mark 4:26-29
The seed is the word of God implanted within each of us and of our own accord the land yields fruit. In order for a seed to grow, it must be nourished, watered and be in the Son Light. Do we allow ourselves to grow, do we nourish the ground, do we water the seed, do we sit still in the presence of God? We live in a world that expects instant results, this isn't how God works. The key ingredient is the Son Light, are you getting enough, it is your accord that allows it in. Are you sitting still each day?
Dear Lord, You send Your Holy Spirit to nourish us, let me hear Him. May I slow down and sit still so I may nourish Your seed that is implanted within me. Teach me today as I go into the world to live the life You have given me. May I nourish others and not discourage. This seed wants to yield a healthy harvest, may my accord be Yours. In Jesus name, Amen.
