www.dailythoughts.com 4-21-2018 John 6:61

"Since Jesus knew that his disciples were murmuring about this, he said to them, "Does this shock you?" John‬ ‭6:61‬

God at times needs to shock our reality to get His reality across.  The stories of people being cured from years of being cripple, Lazarus being brought back to life.  These things go beyond our understanding and so does eating His flesh and drinking His blood.   Our reality can't comprehend what the Spirit perceives.   As Christians we are called to operate on faith.   "Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen." ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬.  Still shocks us so therefore it should change our reality if we are operating in faith.

Dear Lord God, I give You authority to shock my perception and change it to Your reality.  You are God, You speak truth to us and we are guided by Your Holy Spirit.  I thank You Lord Jesus for shocking me into new life, I believe.  Prepare me for what lies ahead, You are King and I Your servant.  Lead the way.  In Jesus name, amen.

Mary, Mother of Life be, pray for us.
