"If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly."

My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me." John‬ ‭10:24b, 27‬

There is great joy in waking in the morning and listening to the voice of God.  It is not an audible voice just a real sense that it is He that is speaking.  I realize this is a grace and some days I am more in peace than others.  He speaks to all of us if we would just be still long enough to recognize Him.  The Jews had him in plain sight and yet they did not recognize the Messiah.  Even if Jesus would of said the words plainly would that of changed them.  God seeks a relationship that is two ways, listening and following.   Take time each day to just be still, find that spot and recognize the Messiah operating in You and Your life.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am listening this morning and I thank You for the grace to hear.  I thank You for the peace and serenity where You reveal Yourself.  Thank You for the gift of friends.   I ask that you continue to bless them with insight and peace in their lives.  Prayers for someone in the storm, may they continue to hear Your voice and not be bothered by the wind as they sail through life.  Special prayers for a friend who is in my thoughts this morning.  Help me continue to hear Your voice throughout the day.  I ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Mary, Our Lady of Victory, pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
