Something for you to consider this afternoon that is in the word of God: "For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39. God will never turn His back on you nor will He deny you His love. As you journey thru life, don't make it difficult on yourself by denying Him. Life is so much easier when we walk along side Him knowing He is there. Otherwise, we walk in darkness and miss out on an incredible journey that is full of joy. "and the servant who was ignorant of his master's will but acted in a way deserving of a severe beating shall be beaten only lightly. Much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more." Luke 12:48
Dear Heavenly Father, You selflessly give of Yourself to us even when we turn away. Open our eyes to the beauty of life and the joy that we can live in the here and now. Heal us Lord God from the pains of turning our back on You, You are always at the ready with open arms to receive us. Remove the scales that cover our eyes, breath Your spirit into us. Prayers for a family who buried their mother today, may Your grace be upon them. In Jesus name, Amen.
