"Yet it was I who taught Ephraim to walk, who took them in my arms; but they did not know that I cared for them." Hosea 11:3
I heard something lately that changed how I thought about the passion of Christ. Instead of the passion of Christ, look at it as Christ's passion. He loves us that much that He willing gave of Himself. Christ and God are one, in the verse above is God's heart. Each of our journeys are leading us to the heart of God. Do we even realize that? The challenges we face each day are no different than the stories in the Bible. Not one didn't face adversity yet thru that suffering and journey they were being lead to God. Know that God is caring for You, may not seem like it but He is. It isn't punishment, it is discipline. Discipline yourself to speak with Him each day, look for the good in all things and count your blessings. You are loved by God.
Dear Lord God, I am overwhelmed this morning when I think of your passion for us. You don't ask much of us and yet You gave all. May I embrace you with open arms, may I see You in everyone that I meet. Bless those that willing sacrifice of themselves for others. Bless the God's Embrace Miniseries as it reaches out into church's helping others hear Your voice. Thank You for this day and May I glorify You in actions today and not words. In Jesus name, Amen.
Mary, Mother of Love, pray for us.
