Exodus Chapter 2 9-1-2019 www.dailythoughts.com

"Moses agreed to stay with him, and the man gave Moses his daughter Zipporah in marriage. She conceived and bore a son, whom he named Gershom; for he said, "I am a stranger residing in a foreign land." Exodus‬ ‭2:21-22‬

Moses is being called home to his roots.  Moses was saved by God, he escaped the killing of all the boys, he escaped the crocodiles in the Nile.  Saved by Pharaohs daughter, raised as an Egyptians in a place of honor much like Joesph before him.  He feels the injustice of the treatment of the Israelites and defends them by killing.  He escaped to a foreign land, to a new life only to feel the call of home.  Our roots have a way of bringing us back home.  God placed these desires within us and gives us free will to choose.  In our wandering God is preparing you for a mission, is it time to return to your roots and give glory, honor and worship to our God?

What is God saying to me: Listen

Dear Father, it is good that You have brought us here.  Life is a great teacher and we do hear the call of our roots, reaching out thru time to remind us what is truly important, honoring and worshiping You.  Thank You Father for preparing Your children for what is coming, You are always by our side and give what we each need.  Thank You for the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking thru others to allow us to hear Your voice.  Bless this day Father and May we honor You in our actions. Amen.

Mary, Our Lady of Victory, Pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
