Psalms 63 - God’s Physical Presence.

"O God, you are my God— it is you I seek! For you my body yearns; for you my soul thirsts, In a land parched, lifeless, and without water. I look to you in the sanctuary to see your power and glory. For your love is better than life; my lips shall ever praise you!"  Psalms‬ ‭63:2-4‬

Psalms 63 - God's Physical Presence.  King David is before God in the holy of Holy's, he is physically in God's presence.  Moses was physically in God's presence.  The Apostles were physically in God's presence.  David's body pined for God, he wanted that more than life.  We have been physically kept from God's Church, can you relate to David's thirstiness?   We are each given these consolations in life that purifies our thoughts and desires.  God is calling out to those who are seeking Him.  In the stillness sit and listen, experience the love the Father has for you, it is better than life itself, it is almost Heaven.

What is God saying to me: I place those thoughts within you, My timing is always perfect, you will see for yourself.  Stay the course.

Dear Father God, I see Your Holy Family before me and my body pines for You.  I see the deception that parches the land and draws your faithful away.  I place myself at Your feet Father and just listen, I know You are working all things out for good.  Thank You for the gifts of the Holy Spirit this past week.  Thank You for keeping me in front of You and for not being drawn away.  Prayers of thanksgiving for answered prayers.  Prayers for a Deacon friend Father, You know how faithful he is.  Bless our time together this morning, we know You will be with us.    I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us.
St Joesph, Pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
