Like rain that falls in the fields, prayer takes time to penetrate the heart. It is in the daily sitting at the feet of Jesus that He is watering the field and producing the fruit that brings about life. Prayer yields the fruit that God seeks for each of us. Dear Father, it is good that we are here, I thank You for giving us King David, a man after Your own heart. We see his life in the Psalms and witness You watering the fields, seeing the fruits of Your labor. May this wisdom and knowledge penetrate to the depths of our souls and may our lives sing of Your greatness, as Your son David did. Bless this day Father, Thank You for sending rain into our fields and bringing about Your Kingdom here on earth. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
