Daily Thoughts - Preparation.
"Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near." Isaiah 55:6
In our time of preparation for the coming of Christ this Advent season, He is never far. The seeking is listening and responding. The more you seek, and respond the closer He becomes. Within this conversation together He is right there navigating the day with you. You are never alone when you are not lost.
Christ has already come, over two thousand years ago. If we are waiting to get to know Him when He returns, it will be too late, the time for finding will be over, it will be the time for judging. Christ can enter in now with simple actions, dedicated time each day in prayer, listening and heeding His voice and never being lost. This is the message of Christmas, when He is born within.
Dear Father, I sit and listen to the beat of Your heart, I feel Your blood course through my vines and You are here. Christmas is every day as You reveal who You are within Your word and our time together. Thank You Lord for speaking through the actions of the day. Prayers for child like faith to take heed and fulfill the glory of Christmas within. In Jesus name, Amen.
