We have a choice to what we give power to. Our thoughts lead to actions and our actions lead to results. We must not think of the earthly things but renew the mind and train it. "Think of what is above, not of what is on earth." Colossians 3:2. Jesus died on the cross for the parts of us that are earthly. He died and gave us new life so we could walk in Him. Call upon the name of Jesus when your thoughts start going to the earthly things before you act. He is the great I Am, ask for help and He will.
Dear Heavenly Father, You sent Your Son to die on a cross so we could have new life. Renew our minds so we can call upon the name of Jesus when we need help. Build up Your community of believers so others see the power of walking in Him. May we continue to be strengthened by Your word and may you bless this day. Thank You for all that You do so we can live forever. In Jesus name, Amen.
