Daily Thoughts 9-28-2017 Haggai 1:5-8

"Now thus says the LORD of hosts: Reflect on your experience! You have sown much, but have brought in little; you have eaten, but have not been satisfied; You have drunk, but have not become intoxicated; you have clothed yourselves, but have not been warmed; And the hired worker labors for a bag full of holes. Thus says the LORD of hosts: Reflect on your experience! Go up into the hill country; bring timber, and build the house that I may be pleased with it, and that I may be glorified, says the LORD." Haggai‬ ‭1:5-8‬

The futility of working and creating without honoring or recognizing God You're Savior, this is the message of God.  There is no satisfaction in life unless we are honoring God, just a simple plain truth.  Reflect upon your own experiences in life, we are truly happy and fulfilled when we are in communion with God.  We are not satisfied when we live for ourselves, the hunger is never filled.  Slow down and get in communion with your Heavenly Father and begin living.

Dear Triune God, I thank You for Your fellowship and Your constant presence.   I thank You for the desire to know You better.  Watch over Your children today as we go into the world.  Help us see the love You have for each of us and how by putting You first in our lives we are complete.  May I be super sensitive to Your Holy Spirit and may I sing Your praises at every opportunity.   I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Blessed Mother, pray for us.
